October is the month the season stops easing in and starts stacking up. An international window opens the month, and once it clears there are four Premier League matchweeks back to back with no break in them. For anyone signing up to Bet9ja this month, the promotion code is YOHAIG.

What you get for entering the code

The promo field sits on the Bet9ja registration form and most people scroll straight past it. Put YOHAIG in the field and the account picks up the welcome offer, which runs to a maximum of ₦100,000 based on what you deposit first. It is a one-time box, because the code will not attach to an account that already exists.

The code costs nothing to use. It applies to new accounts only, and the bonus carries rollover conditions like every welcome offer in the Nigerian market. Check those terms before your first deposit, not after it clears.

Register with promotion code YOHAIG and claim up to ₦100,000 welcome bonus.

Nigeria in Russia to finish the break

The Nations League plays two more rounds from the 1st to the 6th, and the clubs sit out until after that. Nigeria close their own window with a friendly away to Russia at the Nizhny Novgorod Stadium on Tuesday 6 October. A kick-off time had not been published when this was written, so check it on the day rather than assuming.

Four Premier League matchweeks with no gap

Club football restarts on Saturday 10 October. Arsenal versus Leeds United opens it at lunchtime, Manchester United take on Tottenham Hotspur later that day, and Liverpool host Manchester City at Anfield on the Sunday. The following weekend brings Everton against Chelsea, Newcastle United hosting Aston Villa, and Nottingham Forest versus Arsenal on the Sunday evening.

Friday 23 October opens the next round with Ipswich Town against Nottingham Forest, and Chelsea versus Tottenham Hotspur headlines the Saturday. The month closes on Saturday 31 October with Chelsea against Manchester United at lunchtime and Aston Villa hosting Fulham under the lights.

There is also the Manchester City case, with the club reportedly found guilty on nearly all of the 115 charges. What the punishment looks like was still unknown at the time of writing. Should a points deduction follow, the outright markets reprice immediately, so read the news before backing anything long-term.

The clock change nobody plans for

British clocks go back on Sunday 25 October and Nigeria does not move. Up to Saturday the 24th, a kick-off listed in UK time is the same clock time in Lagos. After that Sunday you add sixty minutes, which makes a 15:00 English kick-off a 16:00 start here.

Getting the most out of a busy month

Enter the code at registration, not after. YOHAIG only works on the way in. Fix your October budget before the first matchweek lands. Four matchweeks with no break is a long stretch to stay disciplined.

Before you register
